Ciak Mate is a range of high-quality notebooks with a slim profile with a soft bendy cover. Practical and light, it's perfect for taking notes and can be packed into the smallest bags for ease. The cover is really soft to the touch, almost like a brushed suede feel (although it's a faux leather) and the paper is a lovely off-white colour, comfortable on the eyes and takes fountain pen ink beautifully.

I have just received my notebook, and I'm rather disappointed with it.
Another website's listing for the same product (which I know "The Journal Shop" isn't responsible for) said that it contained 128 pages, and in fact, when I received the notebook (having purchased it from The Journal Shop, and not the other website I mention), a piece of paper wrapped around it stated the same. The bit of paper reads, "128 ruled pages printed on 85 GMS ivory paper". I, in admittedly my own folly, took "128 pages" to mean '128 bits of paper', when in fact, there are 62 lined pieces of lined paper, and two blank ones preceding and following these, for a total of 64 leaves, each of those being counted as two pages. It is, therefore, far smaller than I would want it to be, and not suitable for the purpose for which I bought it. Were the listing clearer, or were there an inside photograph, I would not have bought it - but the bother of returning it is far too great for so small an expenditure.
Unfortunately, the closest product to what I am looking for, the "CIAK Classic Notebook With Grey Elastic Band (B6, Plain)", which I believe I have bought previously from another retailer, is not available lined, and so I shall have to look elsewhere.

CIAK MATE Slim Ivory Paper Notebook (B6, Dot Grid) Grey
The listing did not adequately describe it and was missing an inside picture. Had I known all this, I wouldn't have purchased it. I just bought a PaerTess planner B6 size. This notebook cannot be a B6 as it's smaller than my planner, and I needed it to be the same size. Additionally, the paper is yellow instead of white, which I dislike. Otherwise, the faux leather is lovely, and the thickness of the paper is too. Ensure your supplier provides all necessary information to buy without having to return.
