Hightide Penco Sketch Book (B5 & B6)
Description
A sketch book with the unique feel of letterpress printing that you'll want to take with you
A ring-bound sketchbook series from penco. The drawing paper used is "HS Gao," which is also suitable for watercolors and crayons. Each size comes in a lineup of regular and heavy paper thicknesses, and the cover has a casual design with two-color letterpress printing. The back cover is designed to make it easy to draw while holding the book in your hand. You can enjoy sketching at home or on the go.
The front and back covers are letterpress printed, with slight ink bleeding and misalignment giving them a tasteful texture.
With plenty of pages, you can use it freely to sketch while traveling or jot down ideas.
This off-white drawing paper has a soft feel and a rough texture with a moderately textured surface. It absorbs well and dries quickly, making it suitable for watercolor painting. The texture is not too deep and the surface is strong, so it is less likely to fray even when using an eraser.
The lineup includes two types of paper with different thicknesses, but the paper characteristics and grain are the same. Regular paper (121g/m2) is the same thickness as regular drawing paper and can be easily used for drawing with colored pencils or crayons, or rough sketches with pencil. Heavy paper (157g/m2) is durable and tear-resistant, and the paper surface does not easily become wavy even when painted with water.
We offer two paper thicknesses (regular/heavy) and two sizes (B6/B5), so please select the one that best suits your purpose.
Made in Japan.
