There’s a long list of products we love and use every day with our Field Notes, and every so often we kick ourselves and ask, “why don’t we offer these to our customers?” Such is the case with Book Darts, a simple but ingenious invention that’s been manufactured for years in Eugene, Oregon by Jeanette and Bob Williams.

The fusion of a bookmark and a paperclip, a Book Dart can be easily slipped into any book to not only neatly mark your page, but also to point to the exact line where you left off. They’re great for fiction, memoirs, manuals, planners, notebooks… heck, any document or stack of paper you could name.

Our FN-45 “Tin-O-Darts” is a seamless 2-1/2" pressed tin containing 30 gleaming stainless-steel Book Darts. They’re paper-thin and unobtrusive, but easy to find. They cling tightly to the page, but are easy to apply and remove without causing damage. They’re strong and reusable, so that seems like a lifetime supply. But maybe you better pick up a couple tins, because you’ll find yourself giving them to curious friends — or leaving them to point at a particularly poignant passage indefinitely.
