Desk Therapy: 5 Calm & Minimalist Stationery Picks
Calm your space with five minimalist stationery picks from The Journal Shop. Simple, tactile tools for clearer thinking, gentler writing, and a slower kind of productivity.
Traveler’s Company Brass Clip is designed to keep the Traveler’s Notebook open. The product, which has been designed in Tokyo’s Old Town location, captures the material, composition and spring of the clip which has been specially with the Traveler’s Notebook. A simple insert into a cover or refill to use when writing.
The clip is also designed to be used as a decoration: it can be hung onto a wall. Given the nature of its material, its colour will mature and change with time and use into a satisfying layer. Can be used with regular and passport size. One of our all-time favourite pieces of Japanese stationery.
The clip has an intricate design of an aeroplane reminding us that wherever we travel, there’ll always be a notebook we’ll be holding onto, to remind us of our memories.
About the brand:
Traveler’s Company is located at the back of an alley in Nakameguro, Tokyo. They take inspiration, wisdom and courage from those who have a love for notebooks and a place for them to meet which some may say is unadorned and rugged appearance but feelings of distinguished and confidence. They have taken on creating stationery and tools stimulating creativity and a notion of travelling. Traveler’s leather notebooks and stationery are designed to be carried easily into backpacks or a handbag. Traveler’s Company is part of Midori: the same company manufacturing MD Paper notebooks.
