Such a pretty dusty pink/coral, definitely leaning toward the muted browner side, but its gorgeous! The ink itself is a fairly wet writer so will be a joy in plenty of nib varieties.

The ink flows well from the nib and the colour does not draw the eye so much as to obscure other writing on the page. (I use it to mark essays.)

A full, brown colour ink, which works well in my Ranga/Varuna pen. It's a little reluctant to flow in my Platinum #3776 with SF nib, and it's a "dry"-ish ink which needs a good wet nib to perform at its best.

J Herbin Fountain Pen Ink Bottle -- Terre de Feu : Red Earth
There is a hint of red in this brown which is what I wanted. The ink is particularly beautiful with medium and broad nib. I've been using Cafe Des Iles for a number of years but Terre De Feu might become my regular ink.
