At first I was dubious about the cost, but I'm very pleased with my purchase. Unbelievably luxurious, these pencils are truly iconic. From their extensive length to their stylish replaceable erasers, using a Blackwing 602 feels as elegant as it looks. They also come packaged in a beautiful box!

The very best pencils, smooth to write/ draw with and can achieve different density just by applying pressure. If you have to choose one ‘grade’ of pencil - this is the one. Once you have tried them you won’t go back to the old HB pencils as there is no comparison!

I have so often read other reviews about these pencils that I succumbed to them. A smart box of 12 Blackwing 602 now sits on my desk and I have to agree with those reviewers. An excellent writing, sketching and doodling tool.

If you like pencils, writing with something satifying to hold which flows across the pape, Blackwing is for you. Find the one you want and order a boxful-eraser at the end. They are just lovely.
