Hobonichi Weeks Cover [Alettone Navy]
This slim PVC cover has a clear pocket as its main feature. The cover name “Alettone” refers to the part of an aircraft’s wings called an aileron, due to the way the techo cover’s lid can similarly fold shut with a snap. I created this cover as a way to create something that was easy to use for first-timers, with a simple design and attractive price point. There were a lot of colors to choose from, but after a lot of deliberation, I chose this color so it could suit any situation without standing out too much. I wanted something that would be attractive either at work or for personal use, and after a pursuit of attractive form and simplicity, I think it turned out as a chic cover that’s easy to use.
