Desk Therapy: 5 Calm & Minimalist Stationery Picks
Calm your space with five minimalist stationery picks from The Journal Shop. Simple, tactile tools for clearer thinking, gentler writing, and a slower kind of productivity.
// Truly remarkable paper
// Ultra lightweight
// No sacrifice in paper quality
// Double the number of pages compared to a regular TN refill
TRAVELER'S Notebook's No. 013 Lightweight Paper refill is truly remarkable paper. For those who would prefer to have more pages in their notebook, at the cost of the thickness of each sheet, Midori has produced a lightweight paper notebook refill. The notebook has 128 pages of lightweight paper (compare to the 64 pages in a normal notebook refill).
We tested this with a variety of pens - ballpoints, rollerballs, fineliners, fountain pens and even highlighters. We were very surprised with the results. While we noticed showthrough with everything from a ballpoint to a fountain pen, there was no bleed or feathering at all with any of the pens we used for testing. Considering how thin the paper is, this is pretty extraordinary and testament to the quality of this Japanese paper.

Spring is the perfect excuse to give your workspace a gentle refresh. Whether you're tidying your desk, updating your planner, or simply want something new and lovely to write with, here are five of our favourite seasonal picks – each from a different brand we love at The Journal Shop.
If stationery's your thing, then you'll feel right at home with us. We love good stationery (and a good stationery shop!), great design and the joy of owning things that make us happy. We go to great lengths to bring you the brands we know you love and we've been happily doing this since the very beginning of our journey. We believe in good things, always.
