Kakimori A5 Notebook - Y. & SONS - Kuzushi

£47.00

Kuzushi - The kimono fabric is made in Katakai town in Ojiya, Niigata prefecture. Kuzushi is a traditional Japanese crosshatch pattern made up of alternating lines based on the sangi motif (sangi are wooden counting rods used in Japanese mathematics, or wasan, developed during the Edo period). This pattern is a single-line variation of the common basketweave design featuring three lines.

A beautiful and well-made case bound notebook created with everyday use in mind. Smyth sewn binding ensures each page opens perfectly flat to an A4 spread. The pages feature a hand-drawn, light grey grid that is gentle on the eyes and doesn't stand out when scanned. We created this notebook to be the kind that fits on a bookshelf and becomes part of a treasured collection over time. Limited edition.
